Ramsis Engineering is the low bidder with a price of BD5.9m ($15.8m). The company also submitted a second option bid of BD8.4m.
Panorama Contracting & Engineering Services offered a price of BD6.9m, while Ahmed Mansoor Al-Ali Company bid BD7.5m. Nasser Abd Mohamed Establishment submitted a price of BD8.9m and Mechanical Contracting & Services Company was the highest bidder at BD9.5m. All the bidders are local.
The client on the Addur IWPP is the Finance Ministry.
When completed, the plant will have a capacity of 1,200MW of power and 48 million gallons a day of desalinated water.
