Bahrain-based Projacs is the low bidder with a price of BD3m ($8m). Beirut-based Dar al-Handasah (Shair & Partners) and the US’ Hill International are the other bidders.
The scope includes construction management consultancy works.
Dar al-Handasah is the low-bidder at BD6.9m for the detailed master planning for the projects infrastructure. The other bidders are the UK’s Hyder Consulting and Scott Wilson and Riyadh-based Saudi Consult (MEED 31:01:08).
The Bandar al Seef project is worth an estimated BD1bn in total. It is part of the Northshore development in Manama. The client is Eskan Bank.
