Bids to be submitted by 10 February 2011
Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has invited bids to build water and wastewater facilities to serve the 1,500MW Giza North combined-cycle power project.
The winning bidder will design, install, test, start-up and operate and maintain the plant.
Egypt has secured a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of the Giza North power project and part of the proceeds will fund the water and wastewater treatment systems.
The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has invited bids through its affiliate company, Cairo Electricity Production Company (CEPC).
Bid documents will be available from 28 November. Submissions are due by 10 February 2011.
