The local International Centre for Commerce & Contracting has submitted a low-bid of SR186m ($50m) for the construction of 100 villas at King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals.
At least four other local firms submitted bids for the work. They include Essam Gabbani & Partners Company which submitted a price of SR189m, Osais Contracting Company, which bid SR201m, Al-Yamama Company for Trading & Contracting which bid SR209m, and Azmeel Contracting Company with a bid of SR215m.
The contract covers the construction of staff housing at the university, which is located in Dammam near the Gulf coast.
Bids were submitted on 7 February.
King Fahd University for Petroleum & Minerals is the client.
