Boeing said the 2011 model 737-800 jets will be roomier and have improved engine performance and reduced drag, gaining 2% in fuel. The 2010 model will feature larger overhead luggage compartments, sculpted interior walls and mood lighting. Both versions will use design improvements based on the 787 Dreamliner.
