Australia's Bovis Lend Lease together with Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) is the frontrunner to provide project management services (PMS) to Dubai's Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) on the Dubai Light Rail (DLR) project.
Australia's Bovis Lend Lease together with Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRC) is the frontrunner to provide project management services (PMS) to Dubai's Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) on the Dubai Light Rail (DLR) project.
A consortium, known as Dubai Urban Rail Link (DURL) and led by Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation, is building the network. The RTA is also prequalifying consultants for the third line of the DLR transit project. Known as the blue line, the 47-kilometre scheme will run alongside Emirates road, linking Dubai International Airport and Jebel Ali Airport City.The RTA also plans to extend the green line to serve Business Bay, and the red line to serve Jebel Ali port.
