Massader, infrastructure development arm of the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF), has invited contractors to submit expressions of interest (EOI) for a planned programme to install rooftop solar systems on public schools in the Palestinian territories.
Contractors have been invites to submit EOI forms by 13 May.
The planned programme will involve the installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar rooftop installations at 500 schools over the next four years. The total installed capacity is expected to reach 35MW,with the average installed capacity on each rooftop to be about 70kW.
Massadar, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, is planning to issue request for proposal (RFP) documents to up to five contractors for installing the solar panels and associated infrastructure.
