Brega opens prequalification for Libyan oil terminal

Project includes pipeline network

Brega Petroleum Marketing Company is inviting companies to prequalify for the El-Azizia oil terminal project in Libya, which includes a pipeline network.

The scope of the work includes the construction of 38 fuel tanks, loading and unloading facilities, associated infrastructure and buildings.

Brega also plans to build three pipelines. A 55km pipeline is to connect the Zawia terminal to El-Azizia and will require a pumping station. Two other pipelines will connect the new terminal to Tripoli airport and a power plant to the city.

The prequalification documents will be available from 27 February. The closing date is 7 April.
