Hotel will be the first by the luxury brand in the emirate
Dubai developer Meraas Holding has signed a deal with Italys Bulgari Hotels & Resorts to bring the luxury hospitality brand to Dubai.
The Bulgari hotel will be located on Jumeirah Bay Island, a 6 million square-feet mixed-use development sculpted in the shape of a titanic seahorse off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road. The hotel will feature 100 rooms and suites in the main buildings, as well as 20 hotel villas.
The complex will be spread over 1.7 million square feet and will include low-rise residential villas, a marina and a range of luxury facilities. The hotel has been designed by Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners.
The Bulgari Hotel in Dubai will mark the worlds fifth Bulgari Hotels and Resorts property, following an opening in Milan in 2004, Bali in 2006, London in 2012, and Shanghai, which is set to open in 2015.
