Business aviation in the Middle East is expected to generate roughly Dhs3bn ($800m) by 2012, according to Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and chairman and chief executive of Emirates Group. He added that the movement of small business planes in the Middle East is growing by 18% a year compared with the global average of 10%.
