Chinese win ship order

Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has awarded an estimated $180 million contract to China's Sino-Pacific Heavy Industries to build six 53,000-dwt bulk carriers, with an option for four more. The vessels will be constructed at Sino-Pacific's Dayang yard in Yangzhou and are due for delivery in 2008/09.
