Biography Chris Wilcock is a legal director in DLA Pipers Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations Group, based in the Dubai office, but serving clients across the Middle East and Africa.
Chris joined DLA Piper in May 2013 from a US consultancy, Hill International, where he had been directly involved in major construction claims/disputes. Prior to that, Chris worked in Asia from late 2005 until his arrival in the Middle East in September 2010.
Chris has worked on a number of major projects in the region, with a particular emphasis in the power and transport sectors.
He has worked in most countries in the region, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Chris qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1987, and has been involved in all aspects of construction since that time. He lectures regularly on both contract procurement and dispute avoidance/resolution and is an accredited mediator and arbitrator.
