The Public Authority for Applied Education & Training (PAAET) has invited 10 local grade 1 contractors to bid by 11 July for the contract to build the new College of Business Studies for Boys at its Ardiya campus.
The estimated $95 million contract covers the construction of a segregated main faculty building, as well as libraries, car parks, administrative buildings, lecture halls and related facilities. The local Gulf Consult is the design consultant. Kuwait Arab Contractors is low bidder at KD 27.8 million ($96 million) for a similar contract to build the Girls' College (MEED 21:4:06).
