Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi is new CEO, Andrew Stevens continues as group CEO
Abdulla Saleh al-Raisi has been appointed chief executive officer of Commercial Bank of Qatar, according to a statement by the bank.
Al-Raisi joined the bank in 1998, working in both the retail and corporate banking divisions before being appointed as deputy chief executive officer in March 2007.
Andrew Stevens will continue as the lenders group chief executive officer, focusing on the groups international operations, including investments in National Bank of Oman, United Arab Bank, and most recently Alternatifbank in Turkey, acquiring a 70.84 per cent stake from Anadolu Endustri Holding.
