Commission awards Jubail contract to Radicon-Gulf and Kentz Engineering

21 October 2008
The Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu has awarded a SR100m ($27m) engineering design contract to a joint venture of the local Radicon-Gulf Consult and UK-based Kentz Engineering International.

The contract, which was awarded earlier this month, is a technical agreement which will result in the firm carrying out detailed engineering design work for various aspects of construction and development over the next five years.

The work will be carried out on the third phase of Jubail Two, an industrial development which covers approximately 10 square kilometres.

Jubail Two is the extension to Jubail Industrial City and will double the area available for industrial users.
