Companies are preparing to bid on the construction of a pressurised propane storage facility in Dubai, according to sources familiar with the project.

The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) tender was issued by project owner Dubai Natural Gas Company (Dugas), with proposals expected to be submitted on 7 September.

Dugas, a subsidiary of state-owned Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), operates a gas plant in Jebel Ali, which processes and exports liquefied petroleum gas and petrochemicals.
