Construction on Wataniya headquarters to start within 12 months

The concept design of the headquarters of the National Mobile Telecommunications (Wataniya) in Kuwait has been completed and construction is due to start in the next 12 months.

Detailed design work on the building is currently under way.

The building will have two towers, each measuring 27 floors in height. The site area is 5,000 square metres. The client is Wataniya.

Projacs International is project manager on the work, which has a value of KD25m ($94m). The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Consultants on the project are SSH International Consultants and Webb Zerafa Menkes Housden.
