The network will connect into a central plant capable of producing 53,000 refrigeration tonnes (RT).
Tijara Town is being built by local developer Dubai Properties. Earlier this year the company awarded three contracts totalling more than AED6bn ($1.6bn) on the project. The local Ginco Contracting will build 70 low to mid-rise buildings, Profile RH, also local will build 25 buildings and India’s Sharpooji Pallonji will build 15 buildings.
The scheme is located on a 1.8-square-kilometre plot in Dubailand on the Al-Ain road, close to Emirates Road. The development will offer integrated office, showroom, warehouse, and apartments in one unit. In total there are 51 freehold mixed-used units of 7,700 square metres each (MEED 14:5:08).
