Three firms vie for contract
Consultancy services have submitted technical bids for a consultancy service contract to support the Bahrain Transport Ministry.
The firms vying for the contract are UK firms Ernst & Young and Deloitte, and Netherlands KPMG. Bids were submitted on 10 October.
Bahrain is busy upgrading its transport sector. It is currently reviewing bids for the design of the expansion of its airport after consultants submitted their documents in June.
The transport ministry has also tendered for a new bus operator for the countrys public transport network. The tender was released in August with bids due in in November.
