Local firm awarded contract for major real estate project in Lebanon
- Main construction contract awarded for Lebanon project
- Waterfront City project will be built on Joseph Khoury Marina Stretch
Local contractor AR Hourie has been appointed as a main contractor for the construction and delivery of the residential units of The Piazza and Boulevard districts of the Beirut Waterfront City project in Lebanon.
The contract involves the construction of eight buildings with about 282 units made up of residential, retail and leisure space.
The Beirut Waterfront City project is being developed by a joint venture of the UAEs Majid al-Futtaim and the local Ste Joseph G. Khoury et Fils Holding.
The scheme will be built on the Joseph Khoury Marina Stretch, located 15 kilometres north of Beirut. The development will cover a total area of about 193,600 square metres and, when completed, will contain more than 5,000 residential units.
