New interchange in Qatar will provide access to a new shopping mall
The joint venture of Athens-based Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) and the local Teyseer Contracting Company has secured an estimated QR1bn ($275m) variation to its Dukhan road project in Qatar.
The new work covers the design and construction of a new intersection that will serve a new mall development being built in the area. US-based Parsons International is preparing the design for CCC. The client is the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
CCC/Teyseer was awarded an estimated QR1bn for the Dukhan Central road project in early 2011. It is the second phase of Dukhan highway project.
The projects are part of Qatars plans to invest $20bn on new roads and related drainage and infrastructure in the next five years.
