Cultural facility is located on Al-Wasl Road in Dubai
The local Kele Contracting has started work on the Sheikha al-Jalila Cultural Centre, a cultural and social centre for children and youth, in Dubai.
Located on Al-Wasl Road, near to the corner with Umm Suqeim Road, the project involves building a library, performing arts theatre, exhibition centre, shops and a farm. Contraction work is expected to be completed this year.
The client is Dubai’s Engineer’s Office.
UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum announced the project on UAE National Day on 2 December last year. The project is named after his daughter Sheikha al-Jalila bint Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum.
