Local developer RAK Properties has invited companies to express interest in the construction of a residential precinct at its Mina al-Arab development.
The project involves the construction of 28 buildings, ranging from three to 28 storeys in height, sitting on top of 16 podium structures.
Once completed it will have 18,000 square metres of gross floor area and 1,800 apartment units.
The project will be split into four packages that will be procured as part of one single tender.
The overall AED20bn ($5.4bn) Mina al-Arab project involves the construction of more than 600 villas, as well as apartment buildings, hotels and other urban amenities on the Gulf coast to the south of Ras al-Khaimah city (MEED 26:9:08).
