Requests for qualification to be submitted by 5 September
Khuzestan Water and Wastewater Company has issued a request for qualification (RFQ) to contractors to build a primary module serving four Iranian cities.
The winning bidder will construct the module on an engineering, procurement, construction and finance (EPCF) basis.
The facility will serve urban wastewater treatment plants in Shoosh, Andimeshk, Izeh and Behbahan in Khuzestan province, western Iran.
Only local companies have been invited to participate in the RFP and they must respond by 5 September.
Khuzestan Water and Wastewater Company launched the tender for a similar primary module project, as well as for Khuzestan province, in December 2009.
This project comprises a primary module that would link up to urban wastewater treatment plants in the cities of Abadan, Khoramshar, Shadegan, Bandar Imam and Bandar Mahshahr.
