Ministry sets 15 February deadline for project
Oman’s Tourism Ministry has invited companies to submit bids by 15 February for the contract to build a spa complex at the Al-Bustan Palace hotel on the outskirts of Muscat.
The companies that have collected tender documents includes Arabian Supplies & Contracting; Bahwan Contracting Company; Galfar Engineering & Contracting; Al-Hajiry Trading; Hassan bin Juma bin Backer Trading & Contracting; Al-Nahdha al-Omaniah Company; Al-Rawahi International Company; Teejan Trading & Contracting; and Oman Shapoorji Construction Company (Osco).
The work is part of a broader scheme that involves reconstruction of the beach front and swimming pool areas, renovating guest rooms, public spaces and restaurants, as well as building villas.
The Muscat office of KEO International Consultants is the project manager (MEED 11:8:06).
