Corporate headquarters to be built adjacent to Maqta bridge

Local developer Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) has invited contractors to prequalify for the contract to build its new corporate headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

The complex will be built next to Maqta bridge and comprises three inter-linked office buildings of five, six and nine floors in height, along with three floors of a basement car park with a total floor area of about 114,000 square metres.

TDIC is the real estate development arm of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and is one of the largest developers in the capital. Its projects include the $27bn Saadiyat Island and the Desert Islands project in the Western Region.

TDIC is currently tendering a contract to build the Saadiyat Beach apartments on Saadiyat Island. The closing date is 17 February. The winning firm will build seven apartment buildings in the beach district of the island (MEED 1:2:10).
