Building will be located alongside Fourth Ring Road
Kuwait’s Public Works Ministry has received bids for the contract to build the headquarters building for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
The Public Works Ministry received bids from 11 contractors on 27 July to build the headquarters building, which will be located along the Fourth Ring Road in the Al-Rai area of Kuwait City.
The Kuwait Company for the Management of Real Estate Projects submitted the low bid of KD38.6m ($141.6m), which was about 10 per cent lower than the second lowest bid of KD42.7m, submitted by the Kuwaiti House Construction Trading & Contracting Company.
The third lowest price of KD43.8m was submitted by the local Wara Construction Company.
