A team of South Korea's Daewoo Engineering & Construction with the local Pivot Engineering & General Contracting Company has been awarded an estimated AED 147 million ($40 million) contract to build an IT college in Al-Ain.
About six companies submitted fresh prices in early September for the 21-month contract. It involves the construction of a main building with four storeys and a basement. The complex will be built over an area of 32,000 square metres and will include a master operations centre for computers and classrooms.
