The South Korean group Daewoo Engineering and Construction Company has won the contract to construct a new shipbuilding facility in Qatar.
The company said in a regulatory filing that it had been awarded the $610.6m contract by the Qatar Gas Transport Company.
The South Korean group’s main activities are construction, civil engineering, electrical services, plant and housing development.
