Biography: Kabbani is the managing partner of the Eversheds Doha office. He has been practicing law in Qatar since 1997. He previously worked with an international law firm in Doha and before that was senior counsel with Qatar Petroleum’s Legal Department (Projects) where he spent seven years. Kabbani has also acted as manager of the Legal Department of Doha Bank.

Kabbani has extensive experience working with government bodies and companies on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters including joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience advising oil and gas as well as construction companies on project and finance related agreements and has assisted numerous joint venture companies in their negotiations with both the public and private sector such as QatarGas, RasGas, Gulf Drilling International, Gulf International Services, Q-Chem and Qatalum. Kabbani is fluent in Arabic, English and French.

Kabbani acted as secretary to the board of directors of Oryx GTL (a Qatar Petroleum and Sasol joint venture), Gulf Drilling International (a Qatar Petroleum and Japan Drilling Company joint venture), Starlink (a Ooredoo affiliate) and Qatar First Bank. Kabbani was put forward to become the Minister of Energy and Water for Lebanon in 2014.
