Dell Inc has announced that it will acquire SonicWall Inc for an undisclosed sum to gain network security and data-protection tools, Bloomberg has reported. The California-based company, SonicWall, has about 950 employees. Its technology detects and protects networks from intrusions and malware attacks, and helps back up and recover data.
