UK-based consultancy Amec Foster Wheeler has completed front-end engineering design (feed) for Gathering Centre 32, a project commissioned by upstream operator, Kuwait Oil Company’s (KOC), to deal with increasing crude sourness from the Burgan field, the world’s largest sandstone oil field.

The project is now awaiting KOC approval and is expected to be tendered within two months.
