Deyaar Real Estate launches residential towers project

The local Deyaar Real Estate has launched a three-tower residential project in Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park (DuBiotech).

The project, to be called Mirar Residences, will feature three 19-floor towers comprising 414 one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Construction has already begun and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2010.

Located in close proximity to Dubailand, DuBiotech is a 2 million square metre-project that will focus on the life sciences industry. The free zone contains laboratories, manufacturing units, research facilities and office units.

At the end of 2007, Deyaar announced plans to launch an AED2bn ($544m) residential project at the International Media Production Zone. The development will be located on the edge of the media zone. It will be developed on 40 plots and will have a built-up area of 260,000 square metres. Construction is expected to commence by the end of 2008 (MEED 30:8:07).
