Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is seeking bidders for the construction of buildings and roads at coast guard stations in Shwaimsah and Ras Matbakh.

Ashghal said the Interior Ministry intends to establish new buildings and renovations at maritime bases for the Coasts & Borders Security Departments.

The tender is only open to Qatari companies and must be submitted by 3 December. The tender bond is QR1m ($274,703).

In September, Ashghal invited bids for an estimated $100m contract to build two healthcare centres at Al-Waab and Qatar University.

During the same month, the authority also issued a tender for an early works contract on its New Doha Zoo project. The new zoo will be built on the site of the existing zoo, which is now closed to the general public, and the theme park, which will be closed later this year.
