Airport was first due to open in 2008
Bernardo Gogna, director of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) has said the passenger terminal complex at the airport is scheduled to be completed by February 2012, Gulf Times has reported. The new terminal, which would be able to handle about 24 million passengers, would have some 42 contact gates, six dedicated for Airbus superjumbo A380.
