The $216 contract includes the redevelopment of the main boulevard including retail, residential areas, offices, a supermarket and a hotel.
Ahmed Mansour al-Aali Company will begin building work in the first quarter of 2008. The Kuwaiti-based Gulf Holding Company is the client (MEED 17:12:07).
UK company Atkins is the main designer of the 260,000 square metre development.
