UAE-based Drake & Scull International expects revenue growth of 25 to 30 per cent this year, according to its chief executive officer Khaldoun al-Tabari.

Speaking at MEED’s Arabian World Construction Summit (AWCS) Al-Tabari said that Drake & Scull expected up to 30 per cent growth as it increases its presence in the Saudi Arabia market and looks to diversify into other emerging markets.

Drake & Scull has acquired four companies in Saudi Arabia and the kingdom now accounts for more than 50 per cent of its overall backlog.

The company recently was awarded a AED51.8m contract to build a wind turbine in India.
