Drake & Scull wins Kuwait contracts

UAE-based firm will carry out work on various projects

UAE-based Drake & Scull International (DSI) has been awarded mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contracts worth a total of AED155m ($42.2m) in Kuwait.

DSI will be in charge of commissioning and executing all of the MEP works on a governmental buildings facility, a sports complex, a mosque and a printing press establishment.

‘’We expect a steady and gradual growth for DSI in Kuwait. Since the acquisition in December 2009, we are exposed to the latest construction developments in the country and we are actively identifying opportunities that best fits our service portfolio,’’ says Khaldoun Tabari, chief executive officer, DSI.
