Dubai bourse DFM eases 0.65%

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) started Thursday slightly up but eventually lost steam and ended 0.65% lower at 1,743.98. Emaar Properties shares dropped further (off 1.03% at Dhs3.85) after the real estate giant failed to knock out the resistance level at Dhs4. Shares of Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) ended flat at Dhs3.05. The bank reported Q3 results on 20th October 2010. Its operating profit for the first nine months of 2010 rose 10% to Dhs1,006m compared to Dhs915m for the same period of 2009. Traded value at the DFM dipped 6% to Dhs254.69m as some 130m shares changed hands.
