Pumping capacity meets 55 per cent of Dubai International airports fuel demand
Dubais Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) says it has completed a $250m, 58km jet fuel pipeline from its terminal in Jebel Ali port to Dubai International airport.
The facility has:
- a storage capacity of 140,000 cubic metres and
- a pumping capacity of 850 cubic metres per hour.
The pumping capacity meets 55 percent ?of the airports fuel demand. The pipeline can also pump fuel to the Al-Maktoum international airport.
Indias Punj Lloyd won the contract from Enoc subsidiary Horizon Terminals to build an oil terminal and the jet fuel pipeline in 2012.
