Union Properties releases details of its Al-Dhafra beach development

Dubai-based developer Union Properties plans to build its first project in Abu Dhabi.

The Al-Dhafra Beach development will be built in the emirate’s Western Region. It will be a 3 million square metre development with a variety of residential buildings as well as a five star hotel and a shopping centre.

There will be a canal running through the development.

Union Properties announced plans for another major project in September when it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Beijing-based China State Construction Engineering Corporation for the construction of a AED8bn ($2.2bn) masterplanned development at Motorcity in Dubai.
