A new report reveals that hotel occupancy in Dubai last year declined to its lowest level since 2004 because of a slowdown in visitors and an increased number of rooms. The Jones Lang LaSalle property report said the emirate's hotel occupancy fell to 79% in 2008, which was 5% lower than a year earlier. From July-December last year, occupancy rates dropped by about 7%.
