Dubai invites contractors to bid for One Zabeel project

Prequalified contractors have been invited to bid by 16 July for the main construction package on the One Zabeel project in Dubai.

The project, opposite the World Trade Centre, involves the construction of at least three interconnected towers comprised of offices, a five-star hotel, serviced apartments, residential units and retail space. The total built-up area is about 270,000 square metres.

Prospective bidders include Lebanon’s Arabian Construction Company, CSHK Dubai Contracting, the local affiliate of China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) and the local/Australian Nasa Multiplex.

US-based Burt Hill is the architect. The client is the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
