The DFM General Index started the week with a fickle trading session, ending 0.13% lower at 1,744.46. Investors sold mostly those stocks which outperformed in September: Emaar Properties (off 0.51% at Dhss3.92), Dubai Islamic Bank (down 0.86% at Dhs2.31) or Arabtec (1.75% at Dhs2.24). Bank Emirates NBD bucked the trend, gaining 1.69% to close at Dhs3.00. ENBD has surged 17% in the least three months. Traded value declined 61% to Dhs132m. 72.28m shares changed hands.
