Due to positive input from Saturday's market rise in Saudi Arabia, the DFM General Index closed 0.93% higher at 1,569.80. Dubai Refreshments was the top gainer, closing up 15% to reach Dhs10.90. Emaar Properties gained 1.25%, closing at Dhs3.24. Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) dipped 0.47%, ending at Dhs2.14. Sixteen stocks gained, seven declined and four remained flat. Some 143m shares were traded, valued at Dhs197.15m.
