Dubai Central Laboratory Department (DCLD) has conducted consultative discussions with ready-mix concrete manufacturers in the emirate regarding the implementation of a proposed new certification scheme for ready-mix concrete plants and central batching units.

The DCLD says that the discussions had a “large turnout” and generated ideas that will be put towards a scheme that will meet international best practices that will be acceptable to “consultants, engineers and specialists in the field”.
