Dubai's Drake & Scull wins $27m contract for India water project

Dubai-based construction firm, Drake & Scull International (DSI) has announced its utilities unit had won a Dhs100m ($27m) contract to set up an intake water system for a thermal power station in Orissa, India, Reuters has reported. Work on the project will start immediately and is expected to be completed in March 2013, DSI said. The firm is strengthening and expanding its utilities, infrastructure and water industries in India, said DSI's executive director, Tawfiq Abu Soud.
