Dubai’s Limitless breaks ground in Vietnam

13 December 2007
Dubai-based Limitless has broken ground on its Halong Star project near Hanoi in Vietnam.

The project, which was launched earlier this year, will include hotels, residential buildings and a commercial centre overlooking Halong Bay - a UNESCO-sanctioned world heritage site.
The project is expected to be completed in five years, and will include: a 250-room five-star hotel with 500-seater conference hall; a 100-room boutique hotel with its own spa and wellness centre; 36 high-end serviced villas, 190 villas; 85 townhouses; 114 apartments; retail and commercial space; a cultural arts village; and a commercial hospitality school.
Limitless plans to appoint architects that will draw on traditional Vietnamese, French Colonial and modern Asian design characteristics for the hotel and residential elements of project. The project is being developed by a joint venture of Limitless, Phuong Hung Joint Stock Company and International Property Investment Partners.
