Three companies submit prices for work on gasoline storage facility in Sitra
Netherlands-based engineering group Tebodin has submitted the lowest bid on a tender for work on gasoline storage tanks in Sitra, Bahrain.
Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) received engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) bids from three companies on 6 April to segregate the gasoline sewer system at Sitra tanks, marketing terminal and wharf.
Tebodin Middle East submitted the lowest bid of $14.6m. The other two bidders were Japans JGC Gulf International with $16.5m and the local Nass Industrial Services with $27.8m, according to the Bahrain official tender board.
Bapco is assessing bids on an estimated $5bn at the Sitra refinery to expand the capacity of the facility.
