With investment of $130bn to redevelop its infrastructure and create jobs, Egypt has big plans
Egypt has attracted or reconfirmed investment of $130bn over the past few days at the Egypt Economic Development conference. Major themes have included the design and development of Capital City between Cairo and Suez city, and a number of electricity contracts signed to develop much needed new power generation facilities.
With international countries and companies investing in Egypt, now President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi must show that his country can deliver.
